Yn dilyn hyfforddiant mewnol, bydd yr ymgeisydd llwyddiannus yn cael ei gofrestru ar gwrs 3 mlynedd dysgu o bell gyda’r Assciation of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO).

Gofynion y cwrs yw 5 TGAU gradd A*-C (neu cyfateb) gan gynnwys Saesneg, Mathemateg a Gwyddoniaeth.

Mae’r swydd hon yn llawn amser (35 awr) ac mae’r cyflog yn unol a’r isafswm Cyflog Cenedlaethol presennol.

TRAINEE DISPENSING OPTICIAN

ALTON MURPHY OPTICIANS –  NORTH WALES

The largest independent Opticians in North Wales

We are looking for a Trainee Dispensing Optician to join our company. Area dependent on the applicant.  The ability to speak welsh is an advantage.

Personal Qualities

  • You should be self-motivated, enthusiastic and willing to learn
  • Have an interest in eyewear and helping customers
  • Be confident as part of a busy team
  • Well presented with a happy, positive approach

Following from in house training, the successful candidate will be enrolled on the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) 3 year distance learning course.

The course requirements are 5 GCSE’s at A*-C grade (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science.

This position is full time (35 hours) and the salary is in line with the current National Minimum Wage.
