Rydym yn Optegydd Annibynnol gyda 12 practis ledled Gogledd Cymru, ac rydym yn chwilio am unigolyn brwdfrydig i ymuno â’n tîm yn ein practis yn Rhuthun.  Byddwch yn gweithio gyda amrywiaeth eang o fframiau dylunwyr a lensys Hoya, a rhaid i chi fwynhau’r her o ddod o hyd i’r cyfuniad gorau o ffrâm a lens i weddu bob claf.  Mae’r practis sefydledig hwn wedi ei ail leoli yn ddiweddar; felly, mae bellach yn bractis modern, bywiog a deinamig, wedi’i leoli ar dir ei hun gyda lle parcio ar y safle.

Qualified Dispensing Optician

Location: North East Wales (in person)

Position: Full time, permanent

Qualification: GOC registered and FBDO qualified (or equivalent)

Hours: Monday to Friday

Salary: Dependent on experience

Job description

We are an Independent Optician with 12 practices located in North Wales and are looking for an enthusiastic person to join our team in our Ruthin practice.  You will be working with a wide variety of designer frames and Hoya lenses and must enjoy the challenge of finding the best frame and lens combination to suit each patient.  This established practice has recently relocated; therefore, this is a new, vibrant and dynamic practice located in its own grounds with onsite parking.

Optical Assistant

Location: Pwllheli

Location: Holyhead

The role of an Optical Assistant offers more responsibility and involvement than a receptionist.

As the face of Alton Murphy, you’re there to help patients through their journey with us – from a warm welcome through to helping them with their eye care needs.  You’ll get to know your customers, putting them at ease and get a real feeling of satisfaction from helping them look and feel great.  That’s why we look for individuals who take real pride in delivering exceptional service and who love talking to people.

Experience not essential as full training will be given.

Job Description:

  • Customer service: greeting patients and providing advice
  • Appointments: booking and managing clinical appointments

Following in-house training, this role may include:

  • Choosing eyewear and sunglasses for patients
  • Adjustments: adjusting spectacles
  • Orders: ordering spectacles and contact lenses
  • Equipment: using equipment and tools to support optical services
