Mae gwybodaeth o Microsoft Office o fantais a dealltwriaeth o e-bost yn hanfodol.
Nid yw hwn yn ddisgrifiad cynhwysfawr o ddyletswyddau’r swydd. Oherwydd ymrymiad y Grwp i welliant, mae’n debygol y bydd y swydd yn datblygu dros amser. Patients to be acknowledged on entering the practice.
To complete all paperwork fully, on time and efficiently and to ensure that all data is sent on time to Head Office and NHS.
Manage your time efficiently and be able to communicate well with staff and patients.
All employees are required to keep all areas of the Practice to a high level of cleanliness at all times. End of day checkpoint: bins emptied, equipment covered, frames clean and tidy, chairs positioned correctly, desk tidy.
Location based in Ruthin, however, may need to travel to neighbouring practices when required.
To perform any other ‘ad-hoc’ duties as directed by the company.
Always maintain a professional and positive attitude during work.
Display a hard working competent forward–thinker who is reliable and able to work well both on their own and as part of a team.
Display flexibility and willingness to travel to any practice within the Alton Murphy Group as directed by the company, particularly in times of emergency.
It is your responsibility to arrive in work on time to maintain an acceptable time keeping track record. Identify, prevent or pre-empt any potential areas for patient dissatisfaction, for example, arriving late. Good route preparation and forward planning is vital.
To efficiently carry out basic repairs and adjustments to glasses as set out in the Alton Murphy Staff Training Programme.
To liaise with your manager regarding training and supervision for you to learn more.
To attend Company meetings as required.
The following forms need to be processed correctly: WGOS 1 – 5 and submitted weekly and any other documents.
To process all Practice weekly/monthly documents correctly and submit as instructed.
All employees are required to comply with employment legislation and codes of good practice.
Alton Murphy Training Programme Schedule will be introduced and supervised by your Manager to give you a good working knowledge of the following: repairs to glasses, adjustments, measuring, ordering of spectacles, assisting with frame choice, collections and lens pricing. A knowledge of Microsoft Office is an advantage. Good working knowledge and comprehension of email is essential
This is not intended to be a comprehensive description of the duties of the post. Due to the Group’s commitment to continuous improvement, it is likely that the post will develop over time. These duties will be subject to regular review and any amendments to this job description will be made in consultation and agreement with the staff member.
This post is full time (35 hours) and the salary is in accordance with the national minimum wage.

The largest independent Opticians in North Wales
We are looking for a Trainee Dispensing Optician to join our company. Area dependent on the applicant. The ability to speak welsh is an advantage.
Following from in house training, the successful candidate will be enrolled on the Association of British Dispensing Opticians (ABDO) 3 year distance learning course.
The course requirements are 5 GCSE’s at A*-C grade (or equivalent) including English, Maths and Science.
This position is full time (35 hours) and the salary is in line with the current National Minimum Wage.
